Yet another publication for the trainspotter, this work has little by way of industrial heritage interest, the most intersting aspect being a photograph of a dual gauge turntable in Strabane.

The author recounts how he has been coming to Ireland for 40 years, yet he obviously hasn't noticed the Irish gritting their teeth when he refers to "Eire", indeed, he goes so fas as to say "However, the republic's name is normally expressed in English as Eire, without the Gaelic accent, and this convention has been used in this book". I challenge him to find a normal Irish person referring to the Republic so.
