CALLENDAR PAPER COMPANY, CELBRIDGE

The Callender Paper Company, located in Celbridge, diluted moss peat and ground it into pulp. The brown paper was made from two-thirds peat fibre and one-third paper pulp which was pressed, glazed and polished. The end product was turned into postcards and wrapping paper.
