Looking north to Pearse Station, the track on the right leads into the 1837 D&KR terminus in Kingstown (Dun Laoghaire) with the two lines on the right comprising the mainline. There is an electricy substation on the left to supply power to the DART. The curved building right of centre is the head office of the Commissioners of Irish Lights, who have responsibility for lighthouse around the coast of Ireland.
