Looking back towards Connolly Station, the train approaching is the 1715 ex Connolly to Longford. There was still a single line from Clonsilla to
Maynooth at this stage, so the individual in the centre of the photo is the signalman with the ETS for the Clonsilla - Maynooth section, ready to hand
this over to the train driver.
