These are not common in Ireland. Exlcuding the GNR(I), where they can be seen in the platform canopies of some stations, I am only aware of three
uses of a monogram on railway property, of which this is one. This is on the road frontage of the former L&NWR hotel, now awaiting a new purpose
as a protected structure on the Spencer Dock site.
