Site Description

There was a level crossing at the Portadown end of the station, beside which was the signal cabin. A replica of the latter exists today. There were both Up and Down platforms here with the station building and signal cabin on the latter. A loop served the Up platform and a further loop ran behind this. The goods store was at the Clones end of the station on the same side. Glaslough became a temporary terminus in 1957 due to the Northern Irish Government ordering the closure of the line from Armagh to the border.
