There are Up and Down platforms here, with the station building on the Down platform. On this, there is a plaque to commemorate a civil war incident. The signal cabin was closed in 1990 and was at the Belfast end of the Down platform. It carried a name of
"GORMANSTON". The wooden super structure of this is now in Dromod. Beyond this is the former goods area consisting of a store, loading bank and the site of a siding. There was an accident here in 1974, when two passengers were killed and eleven injured. There is an
army base on the Down side of the line between here and Mosney.
