Site Description
Opened in 1849, the station was questionably closed in 1984, despite being adjacent to a large village. There are both Up and Down platforms here. There was a block post here until 1997, with the signal cabin, since relocated to Drumree in Co. Meath, having been on
the Up side at the Dublin end of the station. The disused goods store, site of sidings and a loading bank are on the Down side at the Dublin end of the station. The station house, now privately owned and the station building are also on this side. The line crosses the White
River north of the station. On the Up side, there is a quarry.
