Site Description
No trace remains visible of this station that closed in 1963. There were both Up and Down platforms, with the station building at the Cork end of that on the Down side. There is a modern day storage depot on the Up side of the line. Not visible from the line, a railway
cottage remains on the Down side adjacent to the historic station access road. There was an accident here in 1853, in which 16 people were killed.
