Site Description

Level Crossing. There were both Up and Down platforms here at this station which closed in 1963 and was on the Claremorris side of the crossing. The station building is on the Up side and there is a shelter on the Down side, the running line serving this platform. The signal cabin at the Limerick end of the station on the Up side closed in 1977. On the same side at the Claremorris end of the station, is the former goods store. An effort is underway to convert the station building into a community centre.
