Site Description

The station here was a joint GNR(I)/B&CDR station but was GNR(I) in design, down to the stationmaster's house, which is the only feature remaining in situ. There were both Up and Down platforms with a bay facing Banbridge on the Up side. The goods store was behind this along with a separate siding serving a coal store. The only B&CDR design concession was a subway instead of a footbridge. On the Up side approaching from Banbridge was a siding serving a bleach works.
