Site Description
There was just one platform on the Up side at this station that closed in 1963. The original station building - on the same side behind the site of the platform - became a private residence after closure of the station. It was purchased by Clare County Council in advance of the station reopened to faciliate same. Previously there was a loading bank, goods store and the site of a siding on the same side at the Claremorris end of the station. The site of these are occupied by the modern single platform station and car park opened in 2010.Photographs
