Site Description

Closed to passengers in 1963 and completely in 1979, only the Down platform remains, on which is the station building. There was a loading bank and site of a goods loop behind the Up platform, of which no trace remains, this area being used as a ballast loading point. The last traffic handled here was tar. There was a block post here until 1963, the signal cabin was at the Limerick end on the Down side.
