Site Description

There was an extensive layout at Armagh with lines approaching from Portadown, Clones, Newry and Castleblayney/Keady. There were both Up and Down platforms with two tracks serving each. The station building was on the Down side at the Clones end of the station beyond which was a level crossing. The line to Keady diverged on the Down side on the Clones side of this. There was also a goods store and locomotive shed, both on the Up side.
